I have a Startrite Bandsaw which has for the blade rear stop [Thrust Rod according to manual] a bar with a Tungsten Carbide Tip brazed on, overtime the tip becomes scored with grooves and the solution in the past has been to turn the bar so the blade runs across these groves and not in them.
Now with my Diamond Belted PE I can clean up the tip by grinding out the grooves, no more replacing the Thrust Rods every 2 to 3 years.

Nice :-) The PE is pretty good at sharpening secateurs freehand too :-)
