Hi, I've just purchased a new Pro edge deluxe today and went to power it on and nothing happens and anyone ever had this problem. By the time I got to try it the store I bought it from were closed so I thought I'd try here first. Would appreciate any help. Thanks Martin.

Sorry for late reply Martin, New not working issue unless you can see a disconnected wire I would say return to the shop is the way forward. I know from previous questions that in Canada the importer swaps out the capacitor which has caused an issue once before.

Thanks for reply. Unfortunately by the time I got home and took it out of the box to try it the store was closed. I have to wait until Monday morning to contact them about it. I just thought it might of been worth mentioning it here in case someone had a similar issue before. Must say I am pretty disappointed about it considering the price of the machine. It was bought new from a shop in Ireland so its the same machine as sold in UK no parts have been changed unlike some that are sold in Canada and elsewhere.

As far as I know (I don't work for Robert Sorby, I just look after this forum for them) the only country that changes the capacitor is Canada, so as you say Ireland should be direct from the factory. I am sure that you have done the usual check fuse, check power socket is live etc. The factory is also closed until Monday so you are unfortunately left to wait. I recommend you start with a phone call to the shop and aim at a quick swap out with a working unit, if that is a problem then you can contact the factory on customerservice@robert-sorby.co.uk
