Hi Jeff
Just caught an episode of New Yankee Workshop over lunch, and you are the special guest taking an axe to a chisel
Really don't understand why I like that show, always leaves me green with envy over the space and machinery Norm has, and wondering why I choose to live in the UK where timber IF you can get it at all is often akin to precious metal prices.
But I can't resist his Dado and Rabbet joinery which produces such fine pieces of furniture almost always over two days.

Yep, my 15 minutes was only 7-1/2, and it was in 2000. Thoroughly enjoyed doing it. Norm has done more for the hobby of furniture making in the U.S. than anyone before or since.

I would go as far as to credit most of the UK's hobbyist and some pro cabinet making to Norm as well, I know it's often a point of conversation where "Norm would use... machine" is the definitive answer. His construction methods are generally quite similar show to show, but the quality and range of project and jig ideas along with his easy presentation skills make him required watching for many.
Perhaps you are still owed 7½ minutes to be collected at a later date
