Hi - does anyone have any tips on how to sharpen the micro woodcarving tools. I’d appreciate any suggestions on techniques and kit or pointers to any useful you tube clips.
thanks

Hi
I am the moderator on this forum, but don't have the carving tools so can't help with any answers, hopefully someone else will step up and give you some pointers. If not I will try to find something for you.

Good morning dwmicro As the micro craving tools have small bevel faces that are already honed they will only need honing, so it is best to look at fine abrasive materials such as some form of powered strop, such as the honing wheel or buffing mop and honing paste on the Robert Sorby ProEdge or manual strop with honing paste, or a fine Japanese water stone or diamond sharpening plate I hope this helps

certainly like your website but you need to take a look at the spelling on several of your posts. Several of them are rife with spelling problems and I to find it very troublesome to inform the truth on the other hand I will certainly come back again. fordero.shop
