At the last place I worked they had a couple of Pro Edges and all the jigs. At least one of the guys found it a bit tricky to sharpen Skew chisels on them. As many of you probably know you have to hold the chisel as flat as possible whilst pushing it forward to get the grind. This is not at all difficult with a large angle as when sharpening a scraper but becomes more problematic with the shallow angle a skew requires. For those of you that have adapted your machines to take Tormek jigs you may like to consider this jig. It’s not cheap but I believe it’s much easier to use. tormek.com/en/products/grinding-jigs/svs-50-multi-jigAs I have the tools I made a much simplified version which works very well.

I like that jig might get one. I find my wet stone gives me a better grind. With the pro edge I get a small bump in the middle of the grind which I don't want. so if you do a grind at say 30% with the small bump in the middle your grinding angle is almost 45%
