Hi, was adjusting the tension on the belt, top spindle was off line sending the belt to the right. Got the tension evened out but now the motor won’t turn. I can hear it but no movement on the belt. Any ideas? Reluctant to play with it. Thanks

Hi lj
Calling in assistance for Roy's post anyway so will ask Clive to check out this one. But if you see this first,
1 is the bottom pully spinning inside the belt? 2 does it spin if you take the belt off.
answers to these will help a lot.

Good morning lj and Pete... The issue sounds like the belt assembly unit has dropped off its location shoulder... As Pete has said, depending on the answers to the questions he has asked, that should clarify the issue Our ProEdge engineer has suggested that you return the machine back to the Robert Sorby factory and he will personally rectify the problem... Please send it to our factory for the attention of Paul Richmond Regards

Pete, thank you so much for getting back to me. Just went out to look at it, With fresh eyes noticed something else was loose on the bed. Tightened it then readjusted belt and it kicked back in. Thank God, my nerves are at me. Only have it a short time. Really appreciate you giving me your time, it’s a pretty busy platform, no doubt I’ll be back to harass you, thanks again, Lisa
