Hi, Sorry to take so long to answer, I was at a family event yesterday. This is an excellent video on precision sharpening, YouTube Link I watched it, drilled through a block of wood cut it open with the bandsaw to give me a couple of drill sized channels then after positioning it on the table I marked it and cut off the front edge to give me the angle against the belt and used marker pen on an existing sharp drill to work out the table angles. I only really bother to sharpen the larger or odd shaped (e.g. I have an extra long 7mm bit) as I am only drilling timber and standard bits are not expensive, but the theory is the same for all drill bits you just need a holding mechanism that will allow you to hold whatever size. hope that answers your question, if not then let me know and I may make up another jig and take stage pictures, but that will be a week or two as I am pretty full on with turning work at the moment. Pete
