It looks like I may have managed to get a YouTube video up, had to shorten it but cutting bits out and speeding up the machining, in order to get it uploaded, apparently they want a track record before allowing long video's which I do not have!
I am a bit self conscious and embarrassed about it, but for better or worse there exists a Video of me making a nesting box.
Hi Chris, you will have noticed my lathe is no longer as shiny as yours :-) That Tailstock catcher on the end of the lathe is a good idea though, mine is a 3 drawer cabinet with morse taper, chucks, and assorted chuck jaws faceplates etc. as well as a place to put the chuck key knockout bar and tools I am actually using. but the important part is 2 rails of 2"x2" that the tailstock sits in nicely without tipping over or sitting on the thread.
Ask any ten woodturners for an opinion on how x is achieved, you can expect at least eleven different answers.
