Hi Fred...thank you for your interesting input...to follow up Pete the moderators comments...as a manufacturer, Robert Sorby cannot recommend modifications to any of its products due to personal safety concerns and also it will invalidate the warranty.

Hi Fred,
Can you please describe the wiring mods you made to wire in your reversing switch? It’s not clear to me where you tapped into the windings.

Hello Allan,
I'm sure by now with a little searching it has become clear. If not? Find a local rewinder, show them what I've done and after/if they have composed themselves? I feel sure they would be happy to give this to the chimp to do properly.
